The Commercial Press Distribution Office serves as a patriotic education base.

The former site of the Commercial Press Distribution Office is located at the intersection of Henan South Road and Fuzhou Road. Built in 1912, it was once a workplace and battleground for figures such as Chen Yun and Mao Dun. In August 1925, Chen Yun served as the chairman of the distribution office’s labor union and led the employees in launching and winning the first strike under Party leadership. The site now houses the Science and Technology Book Company, and a commemorative bronze plaque is displayed at the entrance. It is open to the public free of charge.
