The site of the founding congress of the All-China Journalists Association is located at No. 182–200 Shanxi South Road. It dates back to 1929 and is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative building.
On April 4, 2014, the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government designated and announced the site of the founding congress of the All-China Journalists Association as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit in Shanghai (Hu Fu Fa [2014] No. 29).
