Harbin Crescent Lake Scenic Area

Located 4 kilometers from Wuchang Town and accessible directly via Fangtong Highway. The lake within the park belongs to the Lalin River system and is named Crescent Lake due to its crescent-like shape. It is a comprehensive recreational facility integrating vacationing and tourism, covering an area of 300,000 square meters, with a built-up area of 3,500 square meters, a hill area of 10,000 square meters, a water surface area of 50,000 square meters, and a green space area of 200,000 square meters. It is generally divided into two main parts: the Crescent Lake Recreation Center to the north of the central lake, and the Crescent Lake Resort. The main facilities and recreational activities are distributed around the Crescent Lake from north to south. A modern entrance gate composed of geometric blocks is located at the northern end of the park, surrounded by an iron fence. The recreation center extends from south to north and includes the Crescent Lake Hotel, a Classical Chinese Garden, a Japanese Garden, and a European-style Garden; on the east side are artificial forests and an artificial lake. The hotel has three floors and features three garden areas of varying sizes and architectural styles; it includes various flowers, rockeries, a swimming pool, various sculptures, standard rooms, and deluxe rooms. Ten sets of stone tables and benches are placed in the artificial forest on the east side. The artificial lake is available for fishing and boating. The two banks of the central lake are connected by a white marble arched bridge, and on the southern bank there is the “Moon Dream Garden” sculpture and an artificial stone forest. Passing through a moon gate leads to the Crescent Lake Resort. The resort consists of a lakeside restaurant, a dance hall, and eight wooden waterfront cabins. The cabins feature Japanese, European, and Italian architectural styles, and are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerators, color TVs, and other facilities. Each building is connected by elevated wooden walkways over the water. Beneath the cabins, the water is clear, with lotus flowers, fish, willow trees along the shore, and the over-water structures blending harmoniously. The resort also includes an artificial swimming pool and conference rooms, and can accommodate 50 guests and serve 100 diners.
