The ruins of Shangjing Huining Prefecture, the Capital of the Jin Dynasty, are a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The ruins of Shangjing Huining Prefecture, the Capital of the Jin Dynasty, are located 2 kilometers south of Acheng District. As a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, they were the capital of the Jin Dynasty from 1115 to 1234 and are the only relatively well-preserved Jin Dynasty capital site to date. The Meridian Gate of the Imperial City and the ruins of palace buildings remain intact, as do parts of the outer city wall, barbicans, crenellations, corner towers, and the moat. Transportation: Take a train or long-distance bus from Harbin to Acheng, then walk for about 10 minutes to reach the site.

The Shangjing Huining Prefecture ruins are a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, located 2 kilometers south of Acheng District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. The northern and southern cities of Shangjing currently have 28 gate ruins, including one on the northern wall of the northern city, one on the eastern wall, one on the western wall, two on the waist wall, and two on the southern wall of the southern city. Except for the eastern gate on the waist wall, all have remains of barbicans.

Commonly known as Báichéng (White City), the ruins of Shangjing Huining Prefecture are located 2 kilometers south of Acheng District, at the foot of Daqing Mountain on the western side of the Zhangguangcai Range, on the left bank of the Ashi River, nestled against mountains and water. It was the early capital of the Jin Empire established by the Jurchen people, serving as the political, military, economic, and cultural center of the Jin Dynasty for 38 years under the reigns of Emperors Taizu, Taizong, Xizong, and Emperor Hailing. It is so named because it was also the seat of both Shangjing Road and Huining Prefecture.
