Harbin Xudong Tourism Park

Xudong Tourism Park is located in Pingshan Town, Acheng District, accessible via the Harbin-Mudanjiang Expressway, about 65 kilometers from Harbin City. It is a nature-based leisure and resort tourism area. Established in 1998 and opened to the public in 2000.

The park spans 1 million square meters and integrates a full-scale 18-hole international-standard golf course with a ski resort as a comprehensive scenic destination. It features vast forested areas and wetlands, home to a variety of wildlife. The golf course occupies 1 million square meters, making it the only and largest golf course in Heilongjiang Province. Designed in classic Scottish style, it emphasizes natural scenery with minimal artificial alterations. The course also includes a 300,000-square-meter driving range.

The ecological research base takes advantage of the forested environment to establish eco-tourism and traditional Chinese medicine cultivation areas. Facilities include crab farming ponds, fishponds, natural forest sightseeing zones, and agricultural plantations. The forest sightseeing area hosts over 50 tree species, more than 100 types of plants, and around 30 bird species. During summer mornings, birds sing among fragrant blossoms, creating a delightful atmosphere. The agricultural plantation includes plots for muskmelons, watermelons, cherry tomatoes, grapevines, and fruit orchards. Additionally, Moon Lake covers 40,000 square meters with a depth of 4 meters and a 20-centimeter-thick pebble bed at the bottom, ensuring crystal-clear water. Activities here include boating, diving, and swimming. The lakeshore offers beach volleyball, while the forest provides zip lines, off-road mountain biking, and wilderness survival training bases.

Xudong Ski Resort: As a 2S-level ski resort in Heilongjiang Province, it consists of beginner and intermediate slopes covering an area of 400,000 square meters. The resort is equipped with large snowmaking machines and chairlifts, along with a fully furnished clubhouse. There are two beginner runs and two intermediate runs, each thoughtfully designed with varying styles — some gentle and smooth, others steep and thrilling. A planned 2-kilometer intermediate cross-country ski trail is also in development. Thoughtful lift placement on both sides of the runs allows skiers to easily access various parts of the slopes. Elastic safety nets surround the resort to ensure the safety of novice skiers. The resort also features the unique activity of snow roller skating. Moreover, the area boasts abundant vegetation and a three-star standard hotel.

Xudong Golf Course: Built in 2000, the course receives a large number of domestic and international visitors annually. With its international-standard layout and premium playing environment, it serves as an ideal destination for tourism, sightseeing, and leisure. In winter, it launched China’s first snow golf experience, offering golf enthusiasts a new kind of thrill. Additionally, the resort organizes a variety of exciting snow activities: dog sledding, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tire sliding, snow soccer, ice skating, and ice sledding, among others.

By Bus: Take a bus from Harbin to Dao’wai or Xiangfang, then transfer to a taxi to reach the park.

By Car: From Harbin, take the Suiman Expressway, drive 69.7 km, exit at Pingshan/Xiquanyan, drive 2.8 km, turn right and continue for 170 meters, then enter G301 and drive another 170 meters to arrive.
