Daliangzihe National Forest Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national forest park.

Daliangzihe National Forest Park is located within the Korean Pine Seedling Forest Farm in Daliangzihe, Tangyuan County, at the southern foot of the Lesser Khingan Mountains in the eastern part of our province. Covering a total area of 7,171 hectares, it was established in 1987 and approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of Forestry in 1992, making it one of the earliest national forest parks in China.

It is 37 kilometers from the county town, covers a total area of 7,171 hectares, and has a forest coverage rate of 86.5%. It is one of the earliest national forest parks in China. The park features world-renowned virgin Korean pine seedling forests, an observation tower, Giant Tree Island, Divine Trees Mandarin Duck Lake, anti-Japanese guerrilla camps, Wangsong Tower, Panstone Pine, thousand-year-old ancient trees, a century-old giant bird’s nest, a wildlife exhibition hall, and primitive hunting cabins, among other natural attractions.

lies within the Korean Pine Seedling Forest Farm, covering a total area of 7,171 hectares. Established in 1987 and approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of Forestry in 1992, it is one of the earliest national forest parks in China. Centered around the landscape of virgin Korean pine forests, Daliangzihe National Forest Park is a natural ecological tourism destination that showcases majestic ancient trees, vast woodlands, unique rocks and stones, serene mountains and waters, and richly diverse seasonal scenery. Its beautiful and pleasant natural views have earned it the reputation of “Pearl of the Greater Khingan Range, Jade of the Three Rivers.”

Virgin Korean Pine Forest: Covering a total area of 2,400 hectares, the trees here are 400–500 years old. Korean pines are renowned both domestically and internationally for their premium timber and valuable seeds. They have a limited global distribution and are now rarely seen within China. From a high vantage point, the virgin Korean pine forest appears lush and verdant, with overlapping mountain ranges stretching to the horizon, resembling a piece of jade embedded among the towering peaks. The forest includes attractions such as Panstone Pine, Black Bear Den, and Ancient Tree Growth Rings.

Yuanhai Temple: Known as the “First Temple of the Three Rivers,” it is one of the largest Buddhist temples in Heilongjiang Province. With its classic and elegant yet grand and magnificent architectural style, the temple is embraced by mountains and encircled by clear water flowing along its steps. “The buildings blend with the landscape, while the temple bells and drums harmonize with the pine waves.” The architectural complex and the natural scenery complement each other beautifully.

Daliangzihe Rafting: Known as the “First Rafting Experience of the Three Rivers,” the Daliangzihe River is flanked by green mountains and boasts beautiful scenery. The rafting route features alternating rapids and calm stretches, with giant rocks and unique trees along the way. When the water is calm, it is crystal clear; during the rapids, it surges and churns, making it an ideal spot for eco-tourism.

Trees in the Park

Giant Tree Island: Home to several colossal trees, including large Manchurian poplars, the island features the largest with a diameter of 2.4 meters. These trees are lush, majestic, and towering. By the river, one Manchurian poplar tree has mostly dead trunk but sprouts fresh, vibrant leaves at the top—an astonishing sight that has earned it the name “Divine Tree.” Birch Forest: Known as the “First Birch Forest of the Three Rivers,” this 1,000-hectare pure birch forest stretches endlessly. The white trunks stand gracefully like slender, elegant maidens, and the birch leaves change color with the seasons, adding poetic charm to the vast mountain woods.

Wolohuli: A steep and rugged cliff dozens of meters high, covered with robust pines and fragrant azaleas. Legend says that Northeast tigers once inhabited this rock, hence the name “Tiger Crag.”

Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Camp Ruins: The site of the headquarters of the Sixth Division of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army is located in the northern part of the park. Artifacts unearthed here include rifles, foreign guns, machine guns, telephones, and mess tins. At that time, the division commander Xia Yunjie was a formidable presence across the Sanjiang Plain.
