The Immortal Bridge Hot Springs Resort is the largest hot spring and mineral spring health and rehabilitation destination in the Changbai Mountain area, as well as a premier tourist resort. It also serves as an ideal stopover and hub for sightseeing in Changbai Mountain.

The reason it's called the largest and most famous hot spring health and rehabilitation destination in the Changbai Mountain area and across the country is due to its numerous hot spring and mineral spring outlets, from which large amounts of 62-degree water gush out through granite fissures. These waters contain over 60 types of minerals and rare elements such as sulfate, fluoride, chloride ions, potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium. Notably, the high radon content found here is rare in China, making it a rare type of high-temperature chloride spring rich in sulfates and carbonates. As for being a tourist and vacation destination, it lies deep within the heart of Changbai Mountain, boasting picturesque mountains and clear waters, a pleasant climate, and a tranquil environment. Riverside pavilions and waterside pavilions dot the landscape, while winding paths lead through lush forests. The mountains here are emerald green in spring, verdant in summer, crimson in autumn, and in winter, the Tang River shrouds the fairy-like mountains in mist, resembling a celestial palace. There are also six garden-style sanatoriums equipped with comprehensive health and leisure facilities, along with a full range of service amenities and uniquely flavorful dining options, making it a great place for tourism and vacation all year round.

The hot springs are surrounded by mountains with unique terrain, lush trees, and enjoy the naturally blessed microclimate of a Changbai Mountain forest basin. The average summer temperature is 22.5°C, and the average winter temperature is -19.5°C.
