Located in Yong’an Village, Jiangnan Township, Fengman District, Jilin City, about one kilometer southeast of Ma’ershan. The Dongtuan Mountain Ruins contain relics from the Bronze Age, Han-Wei, Bohai, and Liao-Jin periods. The mountain features three earthen walls mixed with crushed stones and rammed into shape, varying in height, forming a mountain stronghold. At the southeastern foot lies a flatland city built with rammed earth, circular in layout. The academic community currently identifies this city as either an early capital of the Fuyu Kingdom or the Sushou City of the Bohai State. It is one of the typical sites for studying the founding history of Jilin City and holds significant archaeological value. It has now been listed as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit along with the Ma’ershan Tomb Complex.

In 2019, Dongtuan Mountain Ruins was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
