Located in Mengjia Village, Fengman Township, Fengman District, Jilin City, the site covers approximately 3 hectares. It was where the bodies of a large number of laborers who died while being forced by Japanese imperialists to construct the “Second Songhua River Fengman Hydroelectric Power Station” were discarded. In the early 1960s, the “Fengman Laborers Memorial Hall” was built on the ridge of the original mass grave site as a testament to the atrocities committed by Japanese imperialism against Chinese workers.

On October 7, 2019, the Fengman Mass Grave Site was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
