Agricultural Ecotourism Garden

The Zhenlai County Science and Technology Demonstration Park is located 6 kilometers east of the county town, south of the Hala Village Highway. It enjoys convenient transportation. Established in 1999 with a total investment of nearly 1 million yuan, the park covers an area of nearly 40,000 square meters. It includes 14 “four-in-one” greenhouses, each with a usable area of 350 square meters and a construction cost of 45,000 yuan, covering a total area of 20,000 square meters. In 2002, a new variety testing and demonstration zone and a green corridor were added, also spanning 20,000 square meters. The testing and demonstration zone introduced 154 new varieties, including nine demonstration plots for grain, beans, melons, vegetables, forage, medicinal herbs, genetically modified crops, fruit trees, and oil crops.

Currently, the science and technology demonstration zone has taken shape. The “four-in-one” greenhouses generate an annual output value of 180,000 yuan, delivering notable economic, social, and ecological benefits. Through the development of the agricultural science and technology demonstration park, positive progress will be made in soil improvement, crop variety renewal, adjustment of the planting industry structure, disaster-resilient agriculture, organic and pollution-free food development, as well as in promoting tourism through science demonstration and greening efforts.
