Erjiazi Manchu Town is under the jurisdiction of Gongzhuling City, located 13 kilometers southwest of Gongzhuling City, 60 kilometers from the provincial capital Changchun, and 50 kilometers from Siping City. The town comprises nine administrative villages — Erjiazi, Bianyan, Xidi, Nanshan, Houshi, Quanjie, Donggang, and Xiaodingshan — and one neighborhood committee. It has a total population of 21,086, with the Manchu ethnic group accounting for 30.5% of the population. The area covers 113 square kilometers, with mountains making up 50% of the land, and 4,429 hectares of arable land. It is a semi-mountainous region characterized by "five parts mountain, one part water, and four parts farmland."

In the first year of the Shunzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1644), nearly 20 households with surnames Guo, Zhang, Wang, and Fan migrated here from Shandong and Zhejiang, establishing a settlement which was named Erjiazi. In 1912, it was part of the fifth district of Kao Shan in Yitong County, later becoming the ninth district of Yitong County, where the district government was located.
