The Daqing Mountain Site is one of the larger, well-preserved ancient sites in western Jilin Province with rich cultural content. It dates back to the late Bronze Age. The site is divided into eastern and western sections: the eastern part is approximately 500 meters long from east to west, and the western part is about 300 meters long from east to west, with both sections around 150 meters wide from north to south. Artifacts are denser in the eastern section and mainly include stone tools, pottery, bone tools, jade artifacts, and bronze ware. In 1971, an ancient vertical earthen pit tomb was discovered 30 meters southwest of Shuiquanshan Village, where the site is located.
