Qianchengzi Ancient City Site is a city site from the Liao and Jin periods, with higher terrain in the north. It was constructed from rammed black and yellow earth and features two city gates but no barbican. Corner towers were built at the four corners. The ground within the city is scattered with a large number of blue bricks, fabric-patterned tiles, and ceramic fragments, especially concentrated in the northwest. The pottery fragments are all fine clay pottery, wheel-thrown, and fired at high temperatures. The porcelain fragments are all white porcelain dating from the Liao–Jin periods. A number of intact Liao–Jin ceramics have been unearthed within the city. Similar relics to those found inside the city have also been discovered on the north side outside the city.
