The Shiwu Ancient City Site is an ancient city from the Liao–Jin period. The city is roughly rectangular in shape, with watchtowers built at its four corners. Each side of the city wall features a battlement. On the earthen platform in the northeastern corner of the city, there are many scattered fragments of green bricks and patterned tiles, indicating the site of former buildings. Surface artifacts mainly include fine gray pottery shards, porcelain shards, black-glazed stoneware shards, and fine red-brown pottery shards.

Shiwu Town: Shiwu Town is located in the western part of Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province, where the Dongliao River and Xiaoliao River meander through. It lies in the heart of the Songliao Plain, featuring flat terrain and fertile soil. The town covers a total area of 158 square kilometers, with 7,800 hectares of arable land. It administers one neighborhood, 13 administrative villages, and 82 hamlets, and has one full high school, 13 primary schools, 5,319 households, a population of 21,492, and 8,076 laborers. There are 24 Party branches in the town, including 560 rural Party members.
