The farm’s “Rihua Brand” bear bile powder is of premium quality and has won the Silver Award at the Second China Agricultural Expo, been recognized as a Famous Brand at the 1999 China International Agricultural Expo, and in 2001 was honored as a “Jilin Famous Brand” product — making it the only nationally award-winning bear-related product series in China. In November 2001, the College of Agriculture at Yanbian University established a “Teaching and Research Base” at the bear farm, effectively improving both product quality and economic returns.
