The Former Site of Dacheng Middle School is a cultural tourism attraction.

The “Former Site of Dacheng Middle School” is a cultural heritage site protected by the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. It is located within Longjing Middle School at No. 789 Minsheng Street, Longjing City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, approximately 20 kilometers from Yanji International Airport. As an exclusive exhibition hall collecting historical materials on the Chinese Korean ethnic group, it primarily showcases the development history of education and the anti-Japanese struggle of the Chinese Koreans within China since the late 19th century. The exhibits document the origins of Longjing, the development of education among the Korean ethnic group in Yanbian, the anti-Japanese struggle history centered around Longjing, as well as profiles of anti-Japanese heroes. They reflect the revolutionary history during the early 1920s when the Chinese Korean people, under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, fought alongside Korean communists and anti-Japanese patriots against Japanese imperialist aggression in an arduous struggle. Dacheng Middle School was established in 1921 and has nurtured many outstanding ethnic talents who now reside in 13 countries and regions around the world, contributing significantly to human civilization and development. Among them are one Vice President of the nation, one Premier of the State Council, ten ministers, eleven high-ranking military officials, eight university presidents, as well as numerous other notable figures such as government employees, university professors, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, and more. The exhibition hall was established in 1994 within the original Dacheng Middle School building. Since the reform and opening-up, it has attracted a large number of domestic and international tourists. Currently, it receives about 80,000 overseas visitors annually, mostly from South Korea. To improve reception services and enhance the facility environment, over 80,000 yuan has been invested in infrastructure upgrades, with an annual budget of around 50,000–60,000 yuan allocated for purchasing tourist souvenirs, which has largely met the needs of visitors.
