Oriental Bear Park

Oriental Bear Park is located about 5 kilometers from the suburbs of Longjing City and 15 kilometers from Yanji, the capital of Yanbian. Established in 1988, the park is a comprehensive, modern wildlife observation facility integrating wildlife conservation, breeding, development, utilization, and eco-tourism. It is also the largest bear breeding base in Asia. Covering an area of 60,000 square meters with a built-up area of 12,000 square meters, the park features over ten viewing areas of various sizes, including a cub enclosure, juvenile bear enclosure, adult bear enclosure, and brown bear enclosure, where visitors can take photos with the “star bears.” The renowned Badaling Bear Park and Qingdao Bear Park are both authorized branches of the Yanbian Oriental Bear Park. GMP-certified facility was built in 2005 and was the first to pass GMP certification on December 24, 2005. In addition, to attract more visitors, the park established the oriental-style Oriental Bear Troupe in 2004, which performs acts such as animal (bear) cycling, wobble board balancing, tightrope walking, basketball shooting, rope jumping, and boxing.
