Chuan Kou Shan Cheng is situated on the mountain top 300 meters northwest of Wutun in Chuan Kou Village, approximately 15 li north of Kaishantun Town, Longjing City. The entire city is constructed from earth and is roughly diamond-shaped. The site consists of two parts: the southeast city and the southwest city. The southeast city has a perimeter of 1,960 meters, while the southwest city has a perimeter of 1,914 meters. There is an artificially dug moat in the middle of the western city, 450 meters long and 16 meters wide. Inside the city, there are five outwardly protruding earthen platforms and one gate, along with four drainage ditches. There are five building foundations within the city, including a large foundation in the western corner of the southeast city, where 32 foundation stones are arranged in three rows running east to west. Chuan Kou Shan Cheng was initially built during the Bohai period and continued to be used during the Liao and Jin periods.
