Clam Island is located 7.5 kilometers east of Zhuanghe City and is connected to the mainland by a 1,700-meter seawall. The island stretches 1.5 kilometers from east to west and 0.5 kilometers from north to south. It is overgrown with shrubs, entwined with vines, and abundant in flowers and plants. It is also a kingdom of birds—migratory birds often roost here as the seasons change. There are many natural landscapes on Clam Island, such as the Wall, Beauty Reef, and General Rock.

The island is surrounded by numerous beaches with fine, soft white sand and crystal-clear seawater. The largest beach is 400 meters long and 30 meters wide. Below the cliff at the edge of the beach is a natural freshwater spring, which is cool and sweet, suitable for drinking and also for rinsing after sea bathing. Such a high-quality bathing beach is rare in southern Liaoning.

Clam Island enjoys a warm and humid climate with abundant sunshine. The island is covered in lush shrubs, intertwined vines, and vibrant flowers. When spring arrives, the island is draped in green, resembling a giant green velvet ball from afar. Various seabirds also gather here in flocks, making it a paradise for birds.

The beaches around Clam Island have soft, white sand and clear blue seawater. Below the cliffs at the edge of the beach lies a natural freshwater spring with cool and sweet water, perfect for drinking.

Clam Island is beautiful and fertile. The surrounding waters are rich in marine life. It boasts an abundance of fish, shrimp, crabs, and especially shellfish, which are delicious and diverse, earning it the title "The Shellfish Treasury of the East." When visiting Clam Island, you can not only sightsee and escape the heat, but also enjoy the gifts of the sea and admire its beauty.
