Shifo Mountain Ecological Park is located 48 kilometers northwest of Zhuanghe City, within the jurisdiction of Guiyunhua Manchu Township. It borders the Biluhe Reservoir to the west and north, and is conveniently accessible via the Zhuanggai Highway that runs along its northern edge. The area features undulating mountains and a beautiful environment, with high vegetation coverage across the hills, including species such as Chinese pine, larch, oak, birch, and Manchurian walnut. The forest is often home to wild pheasants, rabbits, and roe deer, making it an area with well-preserved ecological conditions.

The scenery of Shifo Mountain Ecological Park is at its most beautiful in spring and summer, when mountain cherries bloom competitively, azaleas cover the hills in vibrant colors, lilacs fill the air with fragrance, pear blossoms shine pure white, and peach blossoms blush on the branches. Hundreds of new sprouts display various greens, while thousands of flower clusters resemble clouds and mist, creating a harmonious atmosphere where “red flowers and green trees exude fragrance, and humans coexist peacefully with nature.” Together, they form a picturesque, poetic scroll of colorful beauty.

The Biluhe Reservoir surrounding Shifo Mountain Ecological Park covers an area of 30 square kilometers, with a maximum storage capacity of 930 million cubic meters. During spring, summer, and autumn each year, it becomes an ideal destination for fishing and swimming. On the slopes around the reservoir lies an expansive orchard that stretches as far as the eye can see, covering more than 1,000 acres and cultivating over 20 varieties of high-quality apples such as Red Fuji, Jonathan, and Red Chief, with an annual total yield of up to 1 million kilograms. In addition, there are also cherries, mountain apricots, walnuts, chestnuts, hawthorns, and more, with a total of over 50,000 fruit trees of various kinds. Its large scale, wide variety, and excellent fruit quality are unmatched in southern Liaoning, making it a true garden of flowering fruits. The park also grows a variety of pollution-free and non-toxic crops such as peanuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes, edamame, green corn, kidney beans, and snap beans, truly making it an authentic green ecological park.
