Zhuanghe Wanghaisi Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Wanghaisi Temple is located in Mingyang Mountain, Mingyang Town, Zhuanghe City. Originally known as "Mianyang Mountain" in the western part of Fanghai County, it sits in the southern corner of Mingyang Mountain at Dingming Mountain, with the Biliu River converging to its west. According to historical records, it was originally named Tianhou Palace and was renamed "Wanghaisi Temple" during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty.

It was renovated during the Sui Dynasty, covering an area of 500 acres of fertile land, but was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Although the current scenery of Wanghaisi Temple may not compare to a hidden paradise or feature spectacular peaks, it offers mountain views and ocean vistas. Gazing into the distance, you’ll be greeted by vast seas and open skies, green mountains and blue waves — a uniquely serene and refreshing environment that is both secluded and not overly bustling. It’s an excellent spiritual retreat with fresh air.

Transportation: Take a bus from Dalian to Zhuanghe, then transfer to a minibus or taxi to reach the temple.
