The Jian Tang Hot Spring Resort is located in Jian Tang Township, within the mountainous northern region of Pulandian City. With its lush mountains, clear waters, and pleasant climate, it’s an ideal destination for tourism and vacation.

Relevant authorities have tested the hot spring water and determined it to be of the sodium bicarbonate type, with temperatures ranging between 50-60°C. The water contains various beneficial substances for the human body. Multiple baths can help treat conditions related to the nervous system, circulatory system, skin, and more. Additionally, it has an invigorating effect on bodily functions, promotes metabolism, and strengthens immunity, hence earning the nickname “miracle water.” The shape of the hot spring’s eye resembles scissors, and it is capable of curing many ailments, which is why it was originally called “Jian Ji Tang” (Scissors-Healing Spring). After the liberation, the township government named it “Jian Ji Tang,” dropping the character for “disease (疾),” resulting in the current name “Jian Tang.” Jian Tang Hot Spring is adjacent to Anbo Hot Spring and is also referred to as the “Sister Springs.”

The Jian Tang Hot Spring area boasts beautiful surroundings, and the nearby tourism resources are also abundant. To the north lie the Gaizhou City Forest Park and the Laomao Mountain range, an extension of the Qianshan Mountains. To the south are the Anbo Hot Spring Resort, Qidao Fang Reservoir, Daoshi Gou Hunting Ground, and Bao’en Temple. To the east, you can visit Bingyu Valley to experience the northern “Little Guilin” landscape. To the west, you can reach Xianyu Bay to enjoy the coastal scenery. The Biliu River Reservoir Scenic Area is also nearby.

Currently, although the Jian Tang Hot Spring remains somewhat “hidden away,” the value of this treasure land is increasingly being recognized. The Pulandian Municipal Government has included the development of the Jian Tang Hot Spring Resort as one of its key projects. The resort will integrate sightseeing, leisure vacations, health and wellness treatments, entertainment, conferences, and commerce. It will also feature uniquely designed villa complexes at different levels. In addition, large indoor and outdoor swimming pools and aquatic centers are planned, with designs that can support national-level training and competition bases for sports such as swimming, diving, and equestrian events. The natural resources of Jian Tang Hot Spring, along with the various preferential policies offered by the municipal government to investors, have already attracted attention from both domestic and international investors, and discussions for cooperative development are currently underway.

It is believed that in the near future, a high-standard tourist resort will rise in the Jian Tang area, and this “hidden jewel of the deep mountains” will surely shine brilliantly.
