Dalian Jiahe Temple (Shuangquan Temple) is a cultural tourism attraction.

Jiahe Temple Shuangquan Temple is one of the few ancient temples still in existence in Pulandian City, Liaoning Province. It is located 35.4 kilometers from downtown Pulandian, on the eastern side of the city in Jiahe Town, Zhao Lu Village, Wangtun East Mountain, covering a total area of 250 hectares. The temple was originally built during the Tang Dynasty, boasting a history of over 1,200 years. Affiliated with the Taoist Jin Hui sect, although it has repeatedly suffered from wars, it has been maintained and restored through the efforts of notable individuals and benefactors throughout the dynasties, allowing its incense offerings to continue to this day.

In 1723, a Taoist priest from Shandong Province named Ma Zhongshan (also known as Ma Wen Yuan) traveled here and settled down, renovating Jiahe Temple. By the end of 1993, the newly rebuilt Jiahe Temple largely retained the original appearance and style established by Taoist Master Ma. The temple derives its name from the nearby springs of miraculous mineral water. The three characters “Shuang Quan Si” (Shuangquan Temple) were inscribed in the 1990s during the temple’s reconstruction by Aisin-Gioro Pujie. The temple fair held annually from the 11th to the 15th of the fourth lunar month has been famous throughout southern Liaoning since ancient times, earning it the reputation of “Above there is Yuezhou Temple, below there is Jiahe Temple.”

The Jiahe Temple Fair has not only become an ideal destination for sightseeing and tourism but also serves as an important annual commodity exchange hub in southern Liaoning. There are as many as six mineral springs at Jiahe Temple, each with a daily flow of 15–20 tons. The spring waters converge to form the natural Basan Reservoir. Standing by the water, you can sometimes see fish leaping and fishing boats dotting the surface, while anglers and the blue sky and water create a poetic scene. The mystical Jiahe Temple and the enchanting legends of its springs give Jiahe Town a unique charm.
