Historical Origins of Anbo Hot Spring According to records, during the Xianfeng era of the Qing Dynasty, two hot spring springs began gushing at the banks of the Anbo River, one of which is located right beneath the Guangming Hot Spring Hotel. The reason why Anbo Hot Spring has such good therapeutic effects is related to its inherent physicochemical composition and properties. The Anbo Hot Spring water is colorless and transparent, with a slight smell of hydrogen sulfide, and reaches a maximum temperature of 75 degrees Celsius. The hot spring water has been shown to significantly improve various chronic rheumatic and rheumatoid arthritis conditions, neuralgia, post-traumatic sequelae, proliferative osteoarthritis, and a variety of skin diseases. Its water quality ranks among the best in the country’s hot springs.

The Anbo Hot Spring Tourism Resort covers a total area of 2.2 square kilometers. Currently, there are over 60 hotels, entertainment centers, sanatoriums, and guesthouses built here, including the Anbo Hongyuan Mountain Villa built to five-star standards, offering more than 3,000 beds. There are also four medium to large-sized indoor swimming pools and one outdoor swimming pool.
