Tengtun Pagoda

Tengtun Pagoda is a cultural relic protection unit of Liaoning Province.

Tengtun Pagoda is located on Tengtun Pagoda Mountain in Tengtun Village, Mopan Township, Pulandian City. This pagoda is about 5 kilometers away from Tangtun Stone Pagoda, hence the name "Twin Pagodas," from which the town of Shuangta derived its name. The two pagodas are stone pagodas from the Jin Dynasty. This pagoda is built from granite, consisting of 16 circular granite blocks stacked into five tiers, standing approximately 5.6 meters tall, and is divided into three parts: the base, the body, and the top. The base is 1.6 meters wide, 1.25 meters long, and 0.3 meters thick. The body of the pagoda is octagonal, tapering slightly with each ascending tier, and each level is adorned with carvings of lotus flowers. The top features a relief carving of a seated Buddha.
