Phoenix Mountain Mountain City is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Phoenix Mountain Mountain City, also known as "Wugu City," is located in Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province in northeastern China. It is a mountain fortress site from the Goguryeo period (37 BCE–668 CE).

Phoenix Mountain Mountain City was constructed section by section along the mountain ridge, forming an oval-shaped layout with a perimeter of nearly 16 kilometers. About 2,355 meters of the walls are relatively intact, 5,170 meters have collapsed, and the remaining sections use natural cliffs as fortifications. The base of the walls is 5–6 meters wide, narrowing to 3–4 meters at the top, with a height of 5–8 meters. The walls were built using wedge-shaped stone blocks. The fortress has three gates—south, north, and east. Within the site, remnants such as a general’s platform, beacon towers, highland lookouts, flagpole bases, wells, and quarries have also been discovered. (National Cultural Heritage Administration)
