Xingcheng Chenghuang Temple

The Xingcheng Chenghuang Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Liaoning Province.

The Xingcheng Chenghuang Temple is the most well-preserved and oldest Ming Dynasty architecture in Liaoning. This uniquely styled temple was first built in the seventh year of the Zhengtong era of the Ming Dynasty, boasting a history of nearly six hundred years. It underwent large-scale renovations during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty and the Kangxi, Jiaqing, Tongzhi, and Guangxu periods of the Qing Dynasty, making it the most intact Chenghuang Temple in Liaoning today.

Protected area: Within the enclosing wall and outside the outer base of the wall, extending 15 meters east, 10 meters south, 5 meters west, and 20 meters north.

Construction control zone: Outside the protected area but within the walls of Xingcheng Ancient City, classified as a second-tier construction control zone.
