Xiangya Mountain Hot Spring Resort is a national AAA-level scenic area. Thanks to the filming of the "Rural Love" TV series, it has become a nationally renowned film base for rural-themed dramas. The once-obscure village of Xiangya has transformed into a well-known and distinctive tourist attraction. Over the past decade of development, nearly 20 TV dramas including "Rural Love" and "Ma Dashuai" have been filmed here, with "Rural Love" now in its twelfth season, setting a national record for the most TV productions filmed at a single scenic site.

Xiangya Mountain is an extension of the Hadaling Range of the Changbai Mountains, with its main peak standing at 615.2 meters. It is the only volcanic rock geological park in northern Liaoning. During the Jin Dynasty, the mountain was called Songshan, also known as "Xiangyang Mountain," later phonetically altered to Xiangya Mountain. In the Qing Dynasty, it was one of the ancient eight scenic spots of Kaiyuan — "Songshan Xianghu."

The Xiangya Mountain scenic area was opened to the public in 1996. Covering an area of 99 square kilometers, the area features many naturally-formed wonders, such as the rugged Goat Path Bench, the meandering Great Wall Plank Road along the stone ridge, the lifelike Giant Natural Buddha, Jade Pot Universe, and Kissing Stones. It also boasts the only Cluster of Flattened Rocks in northern Liaoning. The mountain is rich in vegetation and diverse in species, with ancient trees like mulberry, oak, pine, and willow, as well as hazelnuts, hemp, pears, and various fruits. It is praised as the "Mountain of Flowers and Fruits on Earth" and a "Land of Peach Blossoms." The scenic area is divided into two routes: eastern and western. Attractions include the Sky Ladder, Heaven’s Seam, Sinking Heaven Crack, Immortals’ Gathering Shed, Immortals’ Crossing Shed, Immortals’ Assembly Shed, Flying Rock, General’s Bed, Monkey Stone, Butterfly Spring, and Goddess Lake. These sites not only offer winding paths through serene forests and uniquely-shaped rocks, but also carry rich historical significance — such as the Qing-style "Poetry Screen," the Hidden Emperor Cave where Tang Dynasty’s Emperor Li Shimin hid from Gaizuosun’s pursuit, ancient beacon towers that witnessed historical events, and the Buddhist-built Ten Thousand Forms Pagoda. With over 40 scenic spots in total, the resort attracts large numbers of tourists every year. The annual Xiangya Mountain Pear Blossom Festival has become a major festive tourism event in northern Liaoning.

Visiting Xiangya Mountain, the nearly two-hour hiking route is enough to make visitors break into a sweat. What they look forward to most at this point is experiencing the hot spring bath featured in "Rural Love." The high-standard hot spring hotel can accommodate 500 people, along with over 40 indoor and outdoor hot spring pools, a hot spring resort village, the filming base resort, and farmhouse accommodations in Xiangya Village — all offering an incredibly satisfying experience. With the nationwide popularity of the TV dramas "Ma Dashuai" and "Rural Love," the resort receives up to 500,000 visitors annually.
