Er’yi Park in Anshan City is situated in the central part of the city and is named after February 19, 1948, the anniversary of the city’s liberation. The park lies to the east of the verdant and forested Dongshan Scenic Area and to the west of the convenient and vibrant urban district. It is widely known for its authentic mountains and waters. With picturesque landscapes, an abundance of wildlife to observe, and a full array of recreational facilities, the park is expansive and comprehensive, receiving up to 3 million visitors per year.

The park is divided into several zones including the Water Recreation Area, Flower Area, Children's Play Area, East Lake Area, Animal Area, and Amusement Park. The Water Recreation Area, which consists of Labor Lake, West Lake, and Swimming Lake, covers a total area of 24 hectares. There are five islands of various sizes on the lakes, along with 21 uniquely styled bridges, corridors, pavilions, and towers. Located in the center of the lake, Huancui Island features the 478-meter-long Moon Viewing Corridor and Green Corridor, covering an area of 741 square meters. The Flower Area spans 5.2 hectares and displays 174 varieties of ornamental flowers totaling over 5,000 pots. Enhanced with sculptures, fountains, waterfalls, and rockery corridors, it forms a formal flower viewing space. The main structure is the country’s largest floral greenhouse, built in 1960. It covers a total area of 2,000 square meters, is 100 meters long, and has a span of 16 meters. Since its completion, it has successfully hosted various types of winter flower exhibitions.

The Animal Viewing Area covers 13.8 hectares. It is home to 41 species and 284 animals, including Northeast Tigers, Red-crowned Cranes, and Black-leaf Monkeys. It is the most diverse zoo in central and southern Liaoning, second only to Dalian Zoo.

Dongshan Amusement Park covers 13.7 hectares and currently boasts the largest collection of mechanical amusement rides in the province. It features 37 rides of various sizes, including 15 high-altitude and high-speed attractions, with a total investment of 45 million yuan.
