Martyrs' Hill Park is located in the central-southern part of the city and is the only commemorative park in the city where people pay tribute to and remember revolutionary martyrs. The park covers a total area of 375,000 square meters and is divided into four zones: the Memorial Area, the Senior Citizens' Activity Area, the Water Scenic Area, and the Children's Activity Area.

The Memorial Area features Martyrs' Hill as its main attraction. The hill has an elevation of 97.5 meters. The Martyrs' Monument stands 21 meters tall, with its base adorned on three sides with white marble reliefs. The front of the monument bears the inscription “Eternal Glory to Revolutionary Martyrs,” written by the Commander-in-Chief of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and Marshal, the first Vice Chairman of the People’s Republic of China, and the first Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress.

The back of the monument is inscribed with the messages: “Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs Who Bravely Sacrificed Their Lives During the Domestic Revolutionary War,” “Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs Who Sacrificed Their Lives During the War of Resistance Against Japan and for the Liberation of Anshan,” and “The Martyrs’ Boundless Loyalty to the People, Their Great Revolutionary Spirit, and Glorious Heroic Deeds Will Live Forever.” The 250 steps symbolize the Red Army’s 25,000-li Long March, deepening visitors’ emotions as they ascend. On the eastern side of this area is the Martyrs' Memorial Hall, which not only displays the relics, pledges, and stories of the martyrs but also hosts various exhibitions, serving as a venue for patriotic and revolutionary heroism education.

The Senior Citizens' Activity Area spans 42,000 square meters, featuring water features, springs, and a music dance plaza, specifically designed for the fitness activities of senior citizens. The Water Scenic Area is located in the southeastern part of the park, centered around Yingze Lake, covering an area of 127,000 square meters. With islands nestled among the lake, bridges and rocks adding charm, the area attracts crowds of visitors during holidays. Weeping willows shade the lakeside, while boats glide across the water, creating a picturesque scene.
