Taiwan has three major growing regions for water bamboo: Puli, Jiaoxi, and Sanchi. Among them, Sanchi cultivates the red-shell variety, which is rich in various vitamins, has finer fiber development, a firm texture, and is incredibly sweet. The water bamboo from Sanchi is also relatively larger, making it the most famous "beauty legs" water bamboo in Taiwan!

Local farmers often proudly say, "Water is our treasure in Sanchi." The water in Sanchi comes from the clear, flowing spring water of Yangmingshan Mountain, cascading down terrace after terrace over the water bamboo fields. The layered terraces and shimmering waters complement each other, while the slender green leaves in the terraces sway in the golden breeze, creating rippling waves of green. The sweet scent of sun-soaked water bamboo fills the air, exuding the farmers' eager hopes for a bountiful harvest.
