Come to Shoushan Zoo for Halloween—it’s the perfect spot. On October 31, Kaohsiung’s Shoushan Zoo will host the “Animal Forest Halloween Party,” featuring a free admission event for those in Halloween costumes.From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM that day, anyone dressed in Halloween-appropriate outfits, accessories, or quirky costumes, upon approval by on-site staff, can enjoy complimentary entry, and the first 100 creative attendees will also receive spooky Halloween balloons.

Shoushan Zoo stated that to create a Halloween atmosphere, the “Shou Q Family” mascots will make a specially costumed and quirky appearance on the day of the event. The zoo will also invite children in fun costumes to become “Halloween Little Chefs,” helping prepare delicious pumpkin meals for animals such as Formosan black bears, stump-tailed macaques, and miniature horses. After preparation, zookeepers will serve the meals to the animals. The public is welcome to visit the exhibits to see the adorable animals enjoying their pumpkin feasts.
