The "Most Handsome Staff in Taiwan" who once appeared on Kangxi is here!Recently, a newly opened pizza shop in the East District has become super popular. Two professional male models, who wanted to share authentic American-style handmade pizzas, opened this small pizza shop in the East District. Their massive 18-inch pizzas allow you to choose any four different flavors. These fully handmade pizzas offer both delicious taste and a "visual" treat.

▲ The massive 18-inch pizza lets you choose any four different flavors. It was founded by two professional models, Tyler (pictured right) and Neill (pictured left), combining great taste with visual appeal.

"Little New York Pizza" lives up to its name by serving classic American-style pizzas. Founded by two professional models, Tyler and Neill, the duo taught themselves how to make American-style pizzas because of their love for the flavor, and now they want to introduce more Taiwanese foodies to it. The semi-open kitchen is located on the left as you enter. Tyler spreads the base sauce on the dough, adds toppings, and puts it in the oven — his skilled movements are both cool and impressive.

Unlike the thin-crust Italian pizzas commonly seen in Taiwan, the pizzas here have a thicker crust, wrapped in cornmeal during baking. The result is a crispy exterior with a soft, chewy, bread-like interior that’s a key feature. The shop offers two sizes: 12-inch and 18-inch. Neill says the 18-inch pizza allows you to pick four different classic flavors, making it the most popular choice.

The huge 18-inch pizza helps avoid the issue of getting tired of the taste while eating. Neill recommends the "Flushing" flavor — pickled green bell peppers marinated in sweet and sour sauce, combined with Spanish chorizo, diced tomatoes, garlic, and more — a combination of spicy, sour, and sweet rarely seen in Taipei. There's also the "Meat Locker" flavor, made with Spanish chorizo, Italian sausage, two types of sausages from both regions, plus handmade meatballs.

For those who prefer veggies, try the "Times Square" — featuring zucchini and blue cheese, sprinkled with oregano, perfectly matching the crust. And the best-selling "Hell’s Kitchen," loaded with bacon and cheddar cheese, is a hit with both adults and kids.

For sweet pizza options, Neill recommends the Kennedy Pizza — mozzarella directly on the crust, drizzled with hazelnut sauce, then baked and finished with a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Their pizza-dough-based breads are also amazing. The "Hazelnut Bun," brushed with specially selected hazelnut sauce after baking, offers both thick crunchiness and sweetness that’s hard to stop eating.

The American-style approach at "Little New York Pizza" is a rare style of pizza in Taiwan. It has a distinctly American, carefree vibe, yet shows meticulous attention to detail in both ingredients and flavors — each bite reveals the freshness of the ingredients. No wonder Neill is so particular when introducing the pizzas; although the pair are strikingly good-looking, they hope customers focus on the food itself.Tyler and Neill, known as the "Most Handsome Staff in Taiwan," are practically the toppings on your pizza experience!

The cozy, rustic setting fits right in with the American pizza vibe.
