Burj Khalifa becomes the third tallest? Iraq to build the world's tallest 241-story skyscraper "The Bride"

Is the world’s tallest Burj Khalifa in Dubai already beyond your imagination? The Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia, which was once expected to surpass the Burj Khalifa as the world’s tallest, has not even been completed yet and is already considered "yesterday’s news." Can you even imagine who the new rising star might be? Iraq!

According to the UK's Daily Mail, this long-kept architectural plan is named"The Bride" (The Bride), and it is rumored to be located in Basra, Iraq. The project will comprise four towers, with the tallest being 241 stories high at 1,152 meters, forming the core of the structure.

The exact cost of constructing such a skyscraper remains confidential for now, but it is clear that this oil-rich nation aims to maximize urban vitality. The project is being designed by the architecture firm AMBS Architects. Unlike traditional horizontal city expansion, the architects at AMBS hope to achieve environmental sustainability through a "vertical city" design.

This massive skyscraper will integrate offices, hotels, residential communities, commercial centers, parks, schools, medical facilities, and even a rail network. Its design also takes environmental sustainability into account. “Unlike conventional skyscrapers, 'The Bride' is not just for residents and businesses—it belongs to the public,” said Marcos De Andres, an architect at AMBS.
