Kyushu Pancake is opening its second branch — the Songshan branch will debut on December 27

Made with pancake mix crafted from seven grains sourced from Kyushu and committed to being free of emulsifiers and aluminum-based leavening agents, Kyushu Pancake is set to open its second location. The new spot is right next to the Taipei Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, built with natural materials such as logs and stone bricks to create a warm dining atmosphere. The Kyushu Pancake Songshan branch is scheduled to open on December 27.

The pancake mix used by Kyushu Pancake is made entirely from carefully selected ingredients from Japan’s Kyushu region. In addition to the classic seven-grain flavor, the store also offers “Kyushu Classic Milk Pancake Mix,” made with rare Kyushu buttermilk powder; “Kyushu Fresh Vegetable Pancake Mix,” made with five kinds of dried vegetables; and “Kyushu Satsuma Sweet Potato Pancake Mix,” which includes powdered sweet potato — all adding up to four flavors that enhance texture and taste.

The Kyushu Pancake Songshan branch also introduces “Taiwan-exclusive” selections such as Kyoto Uji matcha series meals and handpicked nut and soy milk beverages. Unlike the Fuzhong branch, the Songshan branch has added a breakfast service from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on weekdays.
