The warm and joyful Christmas season is coming soon. Each year, the Christmas celebration in the Lona Tribe of Xinyi Township, Nantou, attracts numerous visitors to join in the festivities.This year, the lighting ceremony will take place on the evening of December 24th at the square of Lona Village Flower Garden, while the Christmas gala will be held at Lona Catholic Church. The event kicks off with hymns, the lighting ceremony, and a fireworks display, followed by a series of indigenous song and dance competitions.

Christmas is a commemorative and celebratory festival for Christians and Catholics around the world each year, and the tribes of Xinyi Township also celebrate it enthusiastically, adorning their homes with creative and ingenious holiday light displays that add vibrant colors to the Christmas Eve gala.The main celebration locations are concentrated in Dili Village (along the Zhuoshui River line) and Lona Village (along the Chenyoulan River line), where families host banquets to welcome guests from afar, creating an exceptionally lively atmosphere.
