The two companies involved have investment ratios of 51% by “Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd.” and 49% by Bic Camera. The Haneda Airport store is expected to offer over 10,000 products for sale, includingpopular items among foreign tourists such as vacuum cleaners, rice cookers, hair dryers, and other household appliances, as well as general merchandise.In addition toenjoying tax-free benefits, the store will also offer the highly convenient option of “pre-ordering online” and picking up the items at the Haneda Airport store upon returning home.This greatly reduces the hassle of traveling with bulky electronics.
