When Breeze XinYi opened in November, besides featuring many exclusive luxury brands, the Sky Lounge restaurants on the 45th and 47th floors also became major highlights. Morton’s The Steakhouse has already moved into the 45th floor, and soon to follow is Taipei 47 Celebrity Banquet on the 47th floor, set to open at the end of the month. Thanks to their height, both offer spectacular and stunning views that can easily rival those of Random Bird Place, Shin Yeh Gourmet Pavilion, and Din Tai Fung 101 atop Taipei 101.

The biggest highlight of Morton’s The Steakhouse Taipei is undoubtedly the view of the entire Taipei 101 building and the city’s night scenery, allowing diners to enjoy delicious steaks while taking in the beautiful night views. Unlike most steak restaurants in Taiwan, Morton’s operates on an à la carte basis with no minimum spend—you can mix and match appetizers, desserts, main courses, and steaks as you please, or even come just for dessert.

The steaks at Morton’s The Steakhouse Taipei are made from the finest dry-aged grain-fed beef supplied exclusively by their trusted provider. The beef is wet-aged for 23 to 28 days to enhance tenderness and flavor intensity. They also offer fresh fish and a selection of premium shrimp and crab to cater to different preferences. All the beef used is USDA Prime grade. Highlights include oversized steaks such as the 48-ounce (1300g) Prime Ribeye, the 20-ounce (550g) New York Strip, and the 16-ounce (450g) Ribeye—all signature dishes of the restaurant.

Taipei 47 Celebrity Banquet
Internationally renowned chef Huang Ching-piao, hailed as the “Godfather of the Culinary World” in Singapore, has been enlisted by the Kaohsiung Daba Catering Group to open an all-round panoramic Chinese restaurant, “Taipei 47 Celebrity Banquet,” on the 47th floor rooftop of Breeze XinYi. It is expected to begin operations on December 23. Located on the 47th floor rooftop of Breeze XinYi, it is the closest spot to enjoy the view of Taipei 101 and the New Year’s Eve fireworks. The fireworks display can be seen in full. Entry begins at 9:30 PM on December 31, with only 120 spots available. Each ticket is priced at NT$3,880 + 10%, which includes a selection of chef’s special fine Cantonese dim sum, warm hearty soups, and live band performances. Reservations open on December 17.

Random Bird Place 101
