Futuristic vibes ahead！London Underground unveils new station blue wall design

Transport for London (TfL) recently unveiled a new station design, replacing the dull, patchy paint on walls with an entire blue wall surface, an emotional lighting system, and train information screens. Both locals and tourists are highly anticipating the changes, which are expected to be implemented over the next few years.

According to the Daily Mail UK, this new design will primarily appear at “Idiom Park” station, moving away from overly bright and harsh environments. Instead, lighting will be used to highlight key elements such as information screens and ticket machines.

The design was created by Egret West studio, whose primary goal was to offer passengers a comfortable and intuitive journey. In addition to Idiom Park Station, several other metro stations will undergo minor renovations or major refurbishments. Regardless of the scale, London Underground aims to preserve uniqueness and local character.
