Freshly baked muffins & single-origin coffee – a specialty coffee shop tucked away in an industrial zone

This coffee shop hidden in Pingzhen Industrial Zone really gave me a "hidden dragons and crouching tigers" vibe. Originally just an in-house café for YuanYou Enterprise, it started opening to the public after everyone praised its quality. Here you can enjoy great coffee and even buy beans and equipment. Nearby office workers are so lucky – and if you need to meet vendors, you can even arrange to meet here.

YuanYou Enterprise is a food ingredient supplier that OEMs filter-drip coffee for City Café, so we also saw a group of City Café staff undergoing external training in the café that day.

There’s a parking lot up front, but business was booming that day—parking spots were hard to come by. Fortunately, nearby parking is decent and there’s plenty of space.

The shop mainly sells coffee, with cakes supplied by nearby bakeries. We went after eating, so we focused on coffee. The muffins weren’t expensive either—we’ll definitely try them next time.

The interior space is huge, and the industrial-style design fits right in with a café in an industrial zone. It’s self-service for ordering and picking up.

Seating varies by section—some areas seem designed for company meetings, and there are also private rooms perfect for business discussions. The bookshelves offer plenty of magazines and books to borrow.

The most comfortable spot has to be the sofa seating. We ended up moving here and stayed until almost 5 p.m. The sofas are really cozy.

After ordering, you get two cards—one is a loyalty card, the other is your pickup number. When your order’s ready, they’ll call out your number (each person’s number is different).

The moment I stepped inside, I knew this was my kind of place—the air was filled with the rich aroma of coffee. I may not know much about coffee, but that smell? Absolutely comforting.

The shelves display various unique mugs and pour-over coffee tools—all for sale.

My favorite has to be this gorgeous pour-over kettle. I seriously want to buy one—even as a water kettle, haha.

The shop has its own roasting room, and the smell when they roast beans is amazing.

To be honest, the desserts in the fridge didn’t appeal to me much—but the aroma of freshly baked muffins? Now that was irresistible.

Teas, condiments, and utensils are all self-service, so there’s no service charge—that’s fair.

One unique thing: another door inside the café leads to the factory—it’s the staff entrance, so don’t go the wrong way. I’d love to work here—the employee perks are amazing.

A single-origin coffee chosen by a friend—you can try both hot and iced versions, which have slightly different flavors.

I took a sip—it’s a more acidic bean. I still prefer my coffee with milk...

Toasted Sugar Latte – $120

I still think coffee with milk suits me better. This one has a layer of sugar on top—great for those who like sweetness. I loved the crispy-sweet texture on top. So good~

My visit to Alpha Coffee & Tea was great—the prices are reasonable, there’s no time limit for dining, and there are power outlets and Wi-Fi. The only downside is the short operating hours. Most customers are office workers from Pingzhen Industrial Zone. It’s rare for me to want to revisit a café, but this is definitely one of them.
