NokScoot recruits flight attendants in Taiwan for the first time & cuts fuel surcharge again – save NT$1,240 round trip

In response to fluctuating international oil prices, NokScoot Airlines will reduce its ticket fuel surcharge starting January 1, 2016. The fuel surcharge for the non-stop Taipei–Bangkok route will be lowered from NT$920 per segment to NT$300 per segment — a 68% reduction. Travelers flying round trip between Taipei and Bangkok can save NT$1,240 in fuel surcharges.

NokScoot Airlines announced that starting January 25, flights departing Taipei for Bangkok will depart at 09:00 instead of the originally scheduled 05:15, while return flights will leave at 02:30 instead of 23:35. The weekly flight frequency remains at four flights.

Additionally, from now until January 22, NokScoot Airlines will recruit Taiwanese flight attendants for the first time. Eligible candidates must be university graduates under 27 years old, at least 160 cm tall, fluent in both Chinese and English, able to swim 50 meters, and not wear braces. Successful applicants will be stationed at the Thai base and provide in-flight services on direct routes from Don Mueang Airport to Taipei, Nanjing, and Qingdao.
