The Revived Rui Long Waterfall Debuts After Rebuilding — Free Entry During Trial Operation Period

Rui Long Waterfall in Zhushan Township, Nantou CountyMaking a fresh start after the disaster, the park area has recently been fully restored and officially entered the trial operation phase. During this time, there is no entrance fee and no parking charge. The aim is to help Rui Long Waterfall regain its former glory and attract more visitors.

In 2013 (Year 102 in Taiwan’s calendar), a fire broke out at the Rui Long Waterfall park area, damaging some viewing platforms, trails, restrooms, and other facilities. After more than two years of restoration, the area has now entered the trial operation phase and no fees will be charged. Known for its abundant water flow and majestic surrounding landscapes, Rui Long Waterfall also boasts negative ion levels as high as 8,000 to 10,000, which are beneficial to physical and mental health. Now, having risen from the ashes after the fire, the waterfall welcomes the public to return to the mountains and admire its beauty once again.
