Drowning Reality Show? Illusion Pool Exhibition at Kanazawa Museum of Art in Japan

Don’t worry, they’re not drowning—this is an unbelievable illusion exhibition currently on display at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan.

According to the UK's Daily Mail, the pool we see is actually the result of water injected between two layers of glass, not people really submerged underwater. It’s just 10 centimeters of water, but it’s incredibly convincing.

This is the work of Argentine artist Leandro Erlich. What makes it so talked about is that it allows people to stand both “above water” and “underwater,” and it has become one of the permanent exhibitions at this museum.
