Is Tigerair Taiwan's app leaking new Japan flight plans? Destination: New ○ Airport

After cities such as Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya, is the low-cost airline network preparing to extend to the Hokuriku region!? On Tigerair Taiwan’s mobile app, the option to choose “New ○ Airport” as a departure point from Taipei is now available.

Located in the Hokuriku region, New ○ is the largest city in the Hokuriku area and along the Sea of Japan side of Honshu Island, as well as an important transportation hub. Currently, no low-cost airlines operate flights to this destination. Tigerair Taiwan previously hinted at plans to continue expanding its Japan routes this year, and now the appearance of “New ○” suggests a potential new target destination. It may also become a new spot for budget travel, but actual flight information is not yet available for booking via the app. Tigerair Taiwan later clarified that the New ○ route is a charter flight, which is why it appears on the app.
