Nagoya residents take breakfast very seriously, which has led to the development of a unique breakfast culture. Simply order a coffee or tea, and you’ll get a free breakfast, however breakfast content varies by shop, with most including toast with a boiled egg and Kuromame toast. And located right next to Nagoya Station, モ0?衰螗俺圆?リヨン is an extremely popular café offering all-day breakfast until it closes at 6 PM.

Coffee shops are everywhere in Nagoya, and most offer breakfast service, but only until 11 AM. As a result, you’ll often see shops packed at 11, then quickly empty afterward. But モ0?衰螗俺圆?リヨン serves breakfast all day (until 6 PM). Since February 1999, they’ve offered breakfast at any time during the day, and you get a free breakfast (with six options to choose from) with any drink order.

The free breakfast combinations come in six flavors. Toast options include Kuromame sweet red bean toast, fruit toast, butter toast, mashed potato toast, salad toast, as well as thickly toasted bread served with a boiled egg and mini cupcake. In addition to free toast breakfasts with drinks, モ0?衰螗俺圆?リヨン also offers other breakfast sets that come with salad and a boiled egg, priced between 650–780 yen.

Among the six flavors, Kuromame sweet red bean toast is the most popular. Due to pricing, this toast was briefly discontinued at Nagoya’s breakfast cafés, but after numerous requests, モ0?衰螗俺圆?リヨン resumed selling it over ten years ago. Soon, other cafés followed suit, making it the favorite breakfast toast flavor among Nagoya locals today.
