The Windmill Festival at Cingjing Farm Kicks Off: Tens of Thousands of Rainbow Windmills Transform the Mountains into Macaron Colors

The coolest summer event at Cingjing Farm every year — the Cingjing Summer Rainbow Windmill Festival — has officially started at the Little Switzerland Garden from today onwards. This year, the organizers have used 15,000 rainbow windmills to create themed areas such as a yellow windmill flower sea, a spinning macaron lakeside pathway, and a windmill maze. The vibrant, colorful windmills have painted the green mountains and forests of Cingjing Farm in vivid macaron hues, bringing an early taste of summer to visitors.

This year, the organizers have prepared 15,000 macaron-colored windmills to decorate the park, divided into a welcome avenue, a 50-meter-long spinning macaron lakeside pathway, and a yellow windmill flower sea composed of 1,314 yellow windmills, set against a European-style pavilion backdrop. Other features include a crescent-shaped “windmill wooden bridge” and a windmill flower sea area made up of various macaron colors, all coming together to create romantic scenes.

Cingjing Farm also noted that this year’s underwater chapel has a new design, decorated with macaron-colored tulle spheres, continuing last year’s dreamlike underwater chapel concept. It is surrounded by windmill flower seas, forming a brand-new and romantic water chapel.

To ensure visitors have a unique experience each time they come to Cingjing Farm, the park plans to build a “macaron windmill maze” using 6,000 windmills in June. The maze will feature Taiwan’s only Spanish matador-themed OPEN figure, a Dutch-costumed Xiao Tao figure, and a German gentleman-style LOCK figure, allowing guests to enjoy the fun of navigating through a maze formed by windmill obstacles.

Cingjing Farm has also announced that in July, it will launch exclusive shows including water dance + laser displays, butterfly-shaped chairs, colorful carp streamers, and the Love Boat, among other attractions and experiences, ensuring visitors have a delightful time amidst the mountain forests.
