Don’t miss out: Maokong Gondola to suspend service for 23 days starting May 9
Last updated 2026-09-26 — To facilitate annual maintenance work, Taipei’s Maokong Gondola system will be temporarily suspended from May 9 to 31. The Maokong Station visitor center will also be closed during this period.

To facilitate annual maintenance work, Taipei’s Maokong Gondola system will be temporarily suspended from May 9 to 31. The Maokong Station visitor center will also be closed during this period.
During the closure of the Maokong Visitor Center, travelers planning to visit the Maokong area can visit any of the other nine tourist information centers in Taipei to obtain Maokong-related travel information.
