Universal Studios Japan’s “Minions Themed Room” is Here – Featuring a Crocodile Sofa and Rocket Bed

Attention Minions fans: the “Minions Themed Room” at Universal Studios Japan has officially opened. From April through October 7, for a full six months, you can sleep inside a rocket launcher from the Minions movies, go to bed and wake up with the Minions, and experience the novelty of being in a yellow-themed world.

The Universal Studios Port Hotel, in collaboration with Universal Studios Japan, has launched the “Minions Themed Suite,” which was fully booked through August shortly after its release. From the hotel’s entrance lobby, you can see an expansive Minions-themed backdrop, then take a Minions-filled elevator up to the guest room floors. The room features a bed designed in the shape of a rocket launcher from the movie *Despicable Me*, along with entirely yellow bedsheets covered in Minions.

In addition to the bed, there is also a specially designed crocodile sofa that can be opened up into a double sofa bed. The walls are also covered with Minions-themed wallpaper and designs. Guests staying in the room will also receive a toiletry bag and tote bag, both featuring special Minions edition designs, which they can take home to continue enjoying the overwhelming yellow charm of the Minions.
