As hydraulic sealing machinery demands higher performance from seals, it requires hydraulic sealing rings designed with specific inner and outer diameters for the grooves, resulting in gradually reduced variations in the cross-sectional dimensions of the seal's design structure.

What is an H-type seal? What is its structural form?

An H-type seal is a sealing ring with an "H"-shaped cross-section and is also a bidirectional-acting seal. Its structural form is based on a design that lies between a lip seal and a pre-compressed seal. It can be considered as a combination of two lip seals arranged back-to-back, and some also refer to it as a squeeze-type seal. This type of seal structure is used for piston cylinder sealing and only requires one unit to achieve bidirectional sealing, hence it is commonly known as a bidirectional H-type seal. It helps simplify the sealing device and reduce the size of hydraulic components.
