Strolling through any town in the UK, you’ll find many homes with lush gardens full of flowers and plants; and around every corner, you might be pleasantly surprised to come across magnificent historic buildings. With picturesque views around every turn, the UK has long been a prime location for film shoots, and its intriguing backdrops make you want to step right into the story. This winter, The Berkeley in London’s Knightsbridge launches the “Winter Warmer” stay package, where you can enjoy classic films on the hotel’s rooftop terrace and spend a romantic holiday that brings you closer to the capital of cinema.
This winter, The Berkeley presents the “Winter Wonderland” cinematic experience, transforming its rooftop terrace into a dense forest filled with pine trees, complete with a large screen and warm lighting. Guests of the hotel and spa can comfortably lounge on plush cushions and soft cashmere scarves while sipping hot drinks and enjoying classic holiday films. The hotel also offers specially crafted treats such as sweet hot chocolate to add a festive touch to your relaxing break. The “Winter Wonderland” event runs from now until January 31.
The hotel screens a variety of classic holiday films in an open-air setting, including It’s a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street, paired with homemade marshmallow-topped hot chocolate to help you fully immerse yourself in the movie. Guests of the hotel and spa can enjoy the “Winter Wonderland” cinematic experience for free, while the “Full-Day Spa Experience” is available to non-hotel guests for £65 per person. This includes free access to the hotel’s swimming pool, fitness club with sauna and steam room.
